Designing is the art of drawing out the layouts or the form of any project by creating it. This field

has been growing more and more every year and it’s becoming wider and broader. Everything we use and see daily is a result of designing whether it is clothes, buildings, roads, TV shows, or logos.

The industry of this major is often underrated by many. Most people can name a few things of what exactly graphic designers do, but it’s much wider than one would think. These designers, who are often called “visual communicators” have the ability to create the content of different materials and content on multiple mediums. Designs such as posters, magazine covers, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, animation, internet banners, album covers, importing ads to newspapers, magazine layouts, tickets, logos, and t-shirts.

The designers are visual problem solvers. They have a specific goal to be reached and they need to study it and find the best resolution. They can use any type of art to communicate their message, any colors, and shapes, print design, animation, photography, or even building and flags. Their goal is achieved when their message is successfully interpreted by the audiences. The average salary of a graphic designer ranges between $25,000 and $60,000 per year. 

How can I be a graphic designer?

1. You have to create a portfolio: if you want to be hired, then start working on your portfolio, it shows the employer updated on your work and skills. 
2.  Have visual thinking: designing is all about creating if you can’t create then don’t design. The aesthetic eye and the creative spirit are the key to success in this field. Normally, designers are deeply visual and often get inspire.
3. You have to specialize: finding what you like might take some time. Designing needs lots of practice and experience to get good at it. So you have to know the difference between a hobby and a career. Most designers seem very good at everything, but they also had to practice endlessly to reach that level. Practice, discover, search for different areas of design, and don’t stick to one area only. The world is a big place.
